I am a Boston area freelance Social Media Specialist with a cross-functional background in law, data analysis, publishing, financial services, insurance and voice recognition, making it in the (somewhat) big city. In addition, I have a Master’s of Science in Interactive Media from Quinnipiac University, where I graduated with a 4.0. And I am a HootSuite Certified Professional. So you better believe I know my way around social media.
Furthermore, I have performed SEO tasks for MadLab and its web properties, including NursingJobs.US and Nurse-Recruiter. And this includes blogging and customer relations management. Plus I used to be the Director of Social Media and Public Relations for Neuron Robotics, LLC and Home Energies Remedies, too.
In addition, I have blogged for several sites, and I pride myself on being able to blog about nearly any topic, given enough on-point research. Furthermore, I have become an avid podcaster! My first break was on the G & T Show, where we discuss science fiction. And now I have my own show with my friend Shanna, Semantic Shenanigans. And it is where we cover the intersection points among law, society, scholarship, and fandom.
I have worked as a lawyer, and a data analyst. Plus I was a subject matter expert for legal, and a legal auditor. And I did a turn as a QA tester and, now as a marketer. In addition, I have been a volunteer community manager since 2002 – longer than many respected experts in the field! So this is not my first blog. I love to write and am plugged into social media. You can find me everywhere from Pinterest to Tumblr to Instagram to Google+.
My own site is Janet Gershen-Siegel.com, Social Media Specialist.
And of course, please feel free to contact me.
