I am a busy gal these days, what with life and all. However, I still make an effort to find the time to write and I hope that is of interest to you. In addition, I sometimes try to make appearances and promote what I do.
Because even when you are a traditionally published author, there is one semi-dirty little secret. You see, the truth is you are a major member of your own promotional team. And part of that is having a writer newsletter.
Plus writing is a pretty solitary activity unless you have someone to share things with. I really do not want to just stick my work in a drawer. I want to share it—even if you end up telling me it could use some more work and more polish.
Yes, even if you tell me it stinks. See, I will get over it. Seriously. In a word, you won’t hurt my feelings.
Because, at some point in time, every writer’s work stinks. #Truth
